What if Napoleon and the Spanish defeated the British at Trafalgar?

It probably would have shook British morale considerably.  The British were back then extremely invested in their navy, which in our timeline their victory solidified their position as the best navy in the world.  Had they lost this battle (and assuming Nelson still died) this dream would be shattered.  Napoleon was able to see the British were weaker than he suspected.  With their navy weakened after the battle (again more assumptions let's say it was a decisive victory and not costly for Napoleon), it would be much easier for an invasion of the UK.  Considering the size of Napoleon's army and the fact that by then the war in mainland Europe was already won for the most part, it would finally secure Napoleon as the ruler of Europe.  It would be much harder to stop him in future coalition wars against him, although the British would fight bitterly against the French.  It would probably mean the decline of British power in Europe, with France the new world leader.  With that in mind, the whole 19th and 20th century would be quite different than our timeline, so who knows what would happen then.

British morale would have been hit, but the main question would be whether it'd be a French pyrrhic victory or a decisive one.
