when he decided to become a vegetarian. It can be a very healthy and rewarding lifestyle and I'm proud he took the step. Anyone else wanna share their opinion?

Well as bad as Hitler was, he did kill Hitler.

He did many great things. The bad things do outweigh them though. Damn, this is not something I thought we had to discuss...

I mean he did do something wrong; he invaded Russia. The 6,000,000 dead in the holocaust were numerous but then by that same logic the USA is even worse because they killed 100,000,000 Native Americans.

Well, let's for one not think about his ideology (Which I normally wouldn't do) and think only about what he did and if he was bad at that too:

War? Well, he invaded russia when it was united and strong, he send heavy tanks into russia, which was a catastrophe because mud and bad weather combined with tanks does not create an ideal situation for warfare. (He had tanks and other vehicles that could've dealt with mud, and send them into the west) He was against the first assault rifle and against the first jet. He was against retreating and every part of lost lands had to be reconquered, creating needless casualties.

Economy? He privatized the shit out of the economy and had to go to war so that the german economy would not have colapsed. He made so much debts, he had to create an fake corporation that could take some debts to make it look better on the annual report. (If I remember correctly)

So yeah, even if he wasn't a nazi, he would've been a bad leader.

@Blue Well, no one says the USA is not very bad in their own way.

Hitler is the one who built the Autobahn so thanks Adolf.

I hope you're sarcastic with that 100 million number.

While I agree the expansion of the United States was certainly devastating to the native population, the US wasn't the only country doing it (although they certainly were the most obsessed with it), and unlike the holocaust, it was mostly disease.

Hitler was the equivalent of a nazbol feminist. He nationalized a bunch of businesses and gave equal rights to men and women.

He privatized the shit out of the economy. He turned women into child-bearer machines and only late in war gave them permission to work in factories. Women were not allowed to join the armies. Nazism is by definition paternalistic and patriarchical. You have no idea what you are talking about.

I meant equal gender rights politically, as in women were allowed to join the nazi party and achieve political success. Economically, he forced major to invest heavily in government bonds and the nazi party would frequently take money from financial companies. Also, Hitler gave Germany universal healthcare and the nazis would frequently interfere in the running of German companies.
Also, the nazi party's original name was the German worker's party

The Soviets would've invaded soon after, anyways. The Russians were in offensive positions, which is why the German advance caught them off-guard. It is possible that if Yugoslavia was handled differently, and Germany invaded the USSR earlier, then they possibly wouldn't have faced the winter/mud and may have had more success. The Soviet Union was getting aggressive. They invaded 5 countries in two years and killed 10 million Ukrainians. Somebody had to stop them. Imo Stalin was way worse than Hitler and we should have allied with Germany against the USSR.
