This discussion board is filled with people from all over the world i'm sure, and many of us undoubtedly speak many different languages. Perhaps starting a thread where people that are interested in practicing and learning new languages would be useful. What better way to understand culture than language?

I have decent Japanese and German skills, plus a little bit of Irish, Russian, French, and Ukrainian.

I speak three languages, Spanish, English and Basque, and hopefully I use them almost every day.

But I already know... I'm not the best in English haha. At least I try it!

I would like to learn Arabic and Russian and maybe then start with the other romance languages... when? I don't know haha.

I speak English and Ukrainian. I can understand and read Polish, and speak it a bit.

I'm native to English, I took 6 years of Spanish in school (although I've forgotten bits of it already), and know how to say "hello" in a ton of languages.

English, some Deutsche, some Spanish. I can read German better than I can speak it, but not by much. I am a native English speaker.

I speak Russian (native) and English fluently. I can also speak a bit of Japanese. I attempted to study German, Bulgarian and Esperanto, but to no avail. I also really want to study Persian. The culture is fascinating and I can't help, but wonder what are all those Tajik immigrants are saying.
