Is this forum dying?

In the first few weeks on here, this forum was very lively, new topics popping up every hour and new posts every minute. Now it seems that only a few posts are made on a few topics and hardly any new topics are created. As of this Topic's posting, there are only 5 registered users online. And at one point there was only one, and that was me.

If we don't post more and gain more users than this forum will die in a matter of time.

It's probably because many people initially joined during Tigerstar's announcement and gradually lost interest. Also, there's only around 500 people who've joined in total and many of us are busy with work or other stuff with their lives and only skim to see what is new.

I know I've been the only person who was online at one point, but I wouldn't be so afraid for now. I saw a good load of notifications in only a few hours. If you ask me, I would just carry on, revive a few threads, and of course raise awareness for anyone you know who would enjoy this foum

I hate to say it, but this place has been real quiet as of late. But, so long as we keep it alive, it'll stay alive!

Keep activity up, spread the word around, that sort of thing.

Well, it looks even worse now. If you look at the bottom of the page it is just me and you online currently.

The activity has certainly died down. The forum needs a few bumps so that people know it's here. I have had some fun discussions here about a wide range of topics so it would truly be a shame if it went under.

The current activity levels is all I can keep up with. I have a life.

I wouldn't say it's dying. I would say the forums have reached one of its first "stagnant points". After the first few weeks of activity, there's bound to be a dip down. It would help if EmperorTigerstar occasionally promotes these forums in his videos.

Honestly, a part of me is hesitant to post anything in the Alternate History part of these forums because it looks like my War of 1812 alt. history thread didn't go so well.

I have also held back from posting a number of topics due to a low turnout rate. I don't think it would matter to repost them later though, when activity picks up again.

I check it a few times throughout the day for 20-45 minutes or so, make some new posts and catch up on some replies and such.

Ok, now the forum appears to be in trouble.

It's not dead yet, but things look bad

The creator of this forum should encourage the usage of this page with livestreams or whatever, if this stay abandoned It will die sooner or later, I mean, there are better forums on the internet.

I'm afraid tings are looking rather grim, even I've been coming here less and less... Here's to hoping this doesn't last and things pick up soon, I'd hate for this place to go dead.

I'm afraid it is already dead. If I go to the front page almost all of the sub forums have no new pages on them, event though I haven't visited the forums regularly in a while.

And that's why i said to tigerstar that alternatehistoryhub should promote this forum. But he didn't listen. Now we're all paying the price.

Yeah, unfortunately I will have to agree with you all, the forum seems to be in dire shape. Normally, I just look for any new topics and comment, but since nobody is doing that, I have nothing to say. I'm trying to come up with new things to talk about, but I'm running out of ideas.

Well, looking at the Statistics shows that things are clearly not going very well. This forum is basically dead and if Tigerstar doesn't do something (maybe another shout out, even acknowledgement, put it in the description?) than I better just say now that this forum is DEAD.

Yeah its dead. I think it would have helped if "posts since you last left" was made a little larger. It is probably the best thing about this forum.

I'm convinced a part of why many of us aren't posting here is because of "strictness" to historical accuracy. The Alternate History forums in general are land mines for anyone to post in. Whenever one posted a piece on Alternate History, it would be contested almost right away by another poster. Just a thought.

The sad thing is, this forum has a ton of potential. Even dead, it has a strong base of commenters. A great way to interact with users here would be to post poll topics for upcoming videos, release video previews, etc. Perhaps regular channel traffic would see the post here, then move to YouTube. There is no real downside.

If you all want to save the forum so badly, why don't you try and get Tigerstar's attention about this issue?
