What is you r favorite country to play as in HOI4? (With reasoning)

idk about HOI4 (I don't have it), but my favourite country to play in HOI3 is the USA

You can literally go any path you want with them. You aren't forced to go into the Allies or Axis immediately like the UK or Germany, and you can choose whether you want to fight at all. You could just focus on managing your resources efficiently without doing anything, or choose to expand. While the easiest route is to go allies, you can also go Axis or Commitern if you really want to. I personally enjoy making my North American Empire invading Mexico and Central America and plan an invasion of Canada while the UK is occupied.

Same I love dominating the Americas, but its the worst when the UK guarantees nations.

I like going Ireland or Iran. Ireland because I get to unify the island and then be satisfied, Iran because it's in a perfect place for expansion. I'd usually go with Commitern with Iran because the Soviets are pretty threatening.
