Greatest Vietnamese General

The Vietnamese have always been known to be relentless warriors in the face of foreign invasion. Ngô Quyền was the first Vietnamese commander to defeat the  Southern Han and end nearly 1000 years of Chinese domination of the Vietnamese. Few Peoples successfully resisted the Mongols in the 13th century, but Trần Hưng Đạo, who was commander of Vietnamese forces at the time was able to do just that, and an incredible three times! Known for his ruthlessness and nearly mythical accomplishments, Nguyễn Huệ was one of Vietnam's greatest military leaders ever, he united an unstable Vietnam, defeated Thailand, led Vietnam to one of the most brilliant victories in history over Qing China at the battle of Ngọc Hồi-Đống Đa, and ruled as a great national reformer. The U.S. is and has been since post WW2 the most powerful country in history, but even Vietnam was able to repel the might of the U.S. military in large part do to the brilliant tactics and strategy of Võ Nguyên Giáp. From defeating the mighty Mongols to repelling even the United States, there has been many historically great Vietnamese generals, but who was the greatest?
