Re: Where are ya' from?
I live in Chicago. I'm 1/4 Estonian, Norwegian and Hungarian Jewish. My great grandpa left before the Holocaust and my grandpa on the other side left Estonia after the invasion by the Soviet Union after WW2. I'm Lutheran but culturally Jewish

Re: Where are ya' from?
I'm from South Brazil. Half Slav(Polish-Hungarian and Russian) and Half Latin (Portuguese and Italian). My great-grandfather older brother was born in a Ship coming from Russia to Brazil. In the political compass i'm in the left side (but i do support most of the liberal initiatives). I'm a Atheist who follows Jesus Christ Teachings (So as Buddha, Gandhi and why note native americans)

Re: Where are ya' from?
I am from Scotland, and before anyone asks -
No, I am not wearing a kilt.
No, I do not like haggis.
No, I do not live in the middle of a remote highland village.
Yes, it is raining outside.
Aye, I do speak Scots.
And finally, no I do not regularly go around killing oppressive English people while screaming 'Freedom!'. (That movie gets every aspect of Scotland and William Wallace wrong anyway)
And since everyone else is including it I am politically centre left, ethnically I am almost entirely Scottish with a little bit of Eastern European (Lithuanian) and I am agnostic leaning towards atheist.

Re: Where are ya' from?
I was born in Tehran,Iran. Moved to Richmond hill, Canada at 1. I'm an atheist and a centrist I guess.
Re: Where are ya' from?
Southern Brazil, 70% German, 15% Danish/Norwegian 15% Russian (considering my surnames). Grandparents from mother's side were from Denmark, from father's side central Germany. Atheist, though I like the Roman Catholic Church because of certain traditions and our culture here, I respect it. Right wing.

Far East of Russia. The Warmer Part. Ethnically, I'm a bunch of Slavs put together (Russians, Belarusians, Ukrainians and Poles). But I only speak Russian, so I usually identify as that. My Grandma is American though, from a family of White immigrants, who went back to USSR (a part of so called сменовеховцы or smenovyekhovtsy). Her native language is English.

Re: Where are ya' from?
I live in Ireland, was born in Ireland to both sides Irish parents. It can be pretty fucking nice here at times with the whole nature shit but it can also get boring because I live in the South West countryside. Religiously I'm a Deist and politically I'm slightly left leaning, and socially liberal.

Re: Where are ya' from?
Hehe! I'm obviously Chilean a very atheist one and if you ask me about my heritage, well... I have no idea.
As always I only know the general aspects of everything, considering the history of my country, you know, the pre-columbian cultures, the Spanish empire and also having in mind the stories of my grandfather that escaped from the Spanish Civil war I would surely believe and or guess that my background is Mostly from the Iberian Peninsula, BUT that's only one part of my family so the other I would believe that it's mestiza, you know a mix between the Spanish settlers and the native Americans of this areas... The Reches.
So in a few words I'm a Atheist Chilean, castizo(by guessing, I've never took a DNA test... I should do it damn it!) and according to myself I'm in the center of the politics, but don't believe me, sometimes I act like a nazi.
Edit: Now I remember that I took a politic test of those haha here my result.(I don't really like these tests or any kind of test but I find them funny to waste some time)

Hello. I'm a fish that has come from space to observe you strange little fleshy meat bags. Pretty soon I will go on to my next owner by pretending to die.

Re: Where are ya' from?
I would have sworn I've posted on here before, but I guess not, so let me do it (although I prefer staying somewhat anonymous, so not too much detail)
I live in Quebec, near Montreal. Pretty neat place.
I am half-Greek, quarter-Hungarian (except I can't speak it at all or have any knowledge of the culture) and quarter-British
Religiously, outspoken atheist (I avoid talking about it because it triggers the hell out of people)
Economically, I consider myself the link between the centre-left social democrats and the hardcore socialists and communists. Socially, I am a bit of a weird sort, supporting a ton of common liberal viewpoints (For example, abortions and minority rights) while also having pretty reactionary positions as well (Drugs). In all, most political questionnaires put me leaning towards libertarian over authoritarian.

Crazy Boris wrote:Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It's pretty boring up here, and the weather is constantly bad, switching between cold enough to freeze your skin solid, and hot enough to melt the tires off of cars.
We have a cool mall though. Significantly less cool now that HMV is gone but cool nonetheless. I mean, how many malls have a theme park, a water park, an ice rink, a pirate ship, an aquarium, a shooting range, a movie theatre, two mini golf courses, a hotel, and a casino in them? I would live inside that mall if I could...
Ethnically, I'm a European mix bag as far as I know, I can trace my ancestors back to 7 different countries (England, Scotland, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Germany/Prussia, Ukraine) , possibly more (Austria? France? Netherlands? Hungary?), maybe even some outside of Europe.
Religiously, I'm an agnostic, but I lean towards the Kemetic gods.
Politically, I'm pretty neutral. I generally don't care that much, save for a handful of core beliefs. I can't really classify myself as anything other than a straight up centrist
Wait a sec, they got rid of the HMV? Last time I was there was thanksgiving of 2016. Oh well it's still a pretty cool place there, I plan on asking my uncle who was in the military to bring me to the military base there next time my family goes to Edmonton (were around Lethbridge).

Yeah HMV closed down all their stores in Canada a few months ago, which is kind of a shame, because I used to go there too for new CDs :/
