Did Persia do anything against the Ottomans or against the Allies in world war 1? Or were they completely neutral and did not have any support of the war whatsoever and if so, what side did they prefer or which side did they think higher of?

They were formally neutral but fighting took place in Persia. Persian forces took sides based on conditions.

Persia was under heavy western influence at the time, but they had little interest in the war.
