Hearts of Iron IV's terrible AI

It's a pretty good game if you're just looking for some strategic fun, but when you wanna play WW2 out how it really went, it SUUUCKS. The developers completely screwed up the AI to heavily favor the Allies. I legit cannot get any enjoyment out of the game without cheating. I have to use the "Strengthen Germany, Italy, and Japan" cheats to make the odds the slightest bit fair for the Axis. I can only hope there will be a better AI in future updates...

Download mods to make the AI better until Paradox fixes this issue.

I actually made my own mod, because even the level 5 strength wasn't enough to give them a slight chance.

To quote a youtuber I frequent: "It's almost like it's not a finished game."

which is why I don't have HOI4, prefer using Darkest Hour instead. Don't get me wrong the AI in Paradox games are horrible unless you use mods (WIF2)
