The Sea People, Their Myth and The Second Invasion

As you might know, back in 1200 BCE a group in the Mediterranean called "The Sea People" Raided and Invaded the coasts of the East Mediterranean, destroying cities and starting a myth of how this mysterious invaders were not just men. This was clearly disproven later on in history, but the main thing is: What if the Sea People WERE in fact more than just barbaric invaders, but a technologically superior group of conquerors, beginning their second invasion of Europe, Africa and the Middle East?
