Like the Syrian civil war today, the Russian civil war was highly fragmented with multifaceted ideological fronts. The Primary Factions were the Reds (communists), Whites (nationalists), Blacks (anarchists), and Greens (peasants) as well as islamic (Basmachi) separatists. If you lived in Russia between 1917-1922, which side would you choose to support/fight along side?

I would join the White army, But the green army would be my second choice.
