What if Hitler gave Rommel more Panzer Divisions on D-day?
What if Hitler had given Rommel more panzer divisions, instead of only giving him 3 and keeping the rest in Paris?
(Here's more insight for those of you who don't understand what I'm talking about) A few years before D-Day, Hitler started preparing for an invasion of the French coast by the allies, so he started to construct the Atlantic Wall and then made Erwin Rommel the leading commander of it all. He began to make intense fortifications and made the French coast almost impenetrable. A few months before D-Day, Rommel and Rundstedt got into an argument about who should get the major panzer divisions in France, Rommel wanted the panzer divisions to be deployed along the Atlantic wall to prevent the Allies from establishing a beach head and pushing into France, but Rundstedt argued to keep them near Paris to make them more flexible if the Allies attacked some where unexpectedly, so the two asked Hitler what to do. Hitler decided to split the panzer divisions, he gave Rommel 3 divisions and kept the larger reserve near Paris. Only 1 of the 3 panzer divisions were stationed in Normandy.
So what if Hitler gave Rommel more panzer divisions? Instead of just 3.

Alternate history Rommel crushes The Invasion, the Allies lose 156 thousand soldiers ,the Allies don't try to attack the main continent again for two more years, giving Russia the time it needed to conquer most of Europe.

The allies take heavy loses and we end up with a 'Dunkirk' scenario again where there is a frantic scramble to evacuate the surviving soldiers from and ever decreasing beach head by the allied navies, in which the wounded are abandoned. The allies would never fully recover. The eastern front becomes much more stagnant with both sides taking heavy casualties for at least another two or three years before the exhausted Russian army breaks through. Meanwhile the war for Italy still rages and the allies are still slowly progressing towards Rome refusing to preform another assault on the now impenetrable Atlantic wall. The Second World War ends with an allied victory around late 1940s to mid 1950s.

The allies had air superiority, and it was only a matter of time before the allies won out. So, if Rommel gets more tanks, more allied forces die but the end result is the same: Germany is defeated and the allies open a beachhead in France.

On Omaha Beach they were about ready to have the ships pick them up, they just come within a hair of losing, if Ronald had reinforcements Omaha Beach would have fallen, and in turn the other beaches.
