Ancient Greece is one of the most important and discussed time and place in history. Which ancient Greek city-state was your favorite?

It's probably the very most important time and place in history. Greek philosophy and learning changed the world. Did they borrow from earlier civilizations? YES! Which is what made them so great. Without Greece, there would be no America, and Rome would have been just another militant empire that would have come and gone in a couple centuries without really changing the world.

Sparta for sure.
