Re: Russian History
Definetly the Post war Soviet Union
Russian Empire
Modern Russia (only cause of nukes, only reason they're considered a great power is cause of them)
Interwar Soviet Union
This is also going strongest to weakest.

Re: Russian History
So by Global superpower, I will be going from most influence during that time. I'm also including WW2 Soviet Union, because its not on the original list and I think it has a different spot than interwar Russia.
1. Postwar Soviet Union (the one of only 2 superpowers in the world and had several puppet states in Europe and Asia, essentially single handedly spread its ideology (whether by force or supporting other communist groups) throughout the world and gave the US a real run for its money.)
2. Russian Empire (one of the great powers of the world and one of the largest country sizes and armies in the world. Had several spheres in Eastern Europe and Asia, including some that even the USSR didn't have (like Persia/Iran). Lost a lot of power during the early 1900s, but still a force to be reckoned with.)
3. WW2 Soviet Union (By now, the country has regained its extremely large army and industry. It also took over territory from Finland, the Baltic and Poland. It was able to defeat an extremely powerful Germany on the Eastern Front. After the war, the victories it had turned the USSR into the superpower it was after the war.)
4. Modern Russia (yes, minus the nukes it's not that powerful, but it has recently started to rise up and defy the status quo of the USA being the sole major power. Slowly trying to gain influence and control over former parts of the country. Could become even more powerful in the future.)
5. Interwar Soviet Union (essentially like modern Russia, except it had a civil war to deal with as well and no nukes. The gap in power between itself and Eastern Europe was much closer than it is now, so it had much more difficulty spreading its influence. Lots of population death due to famines which hindered its growth as well. It only regained its power shortly before WW2 started.)
