You are right about Austria. I just forgot to mention that it wasn't a NATO country. But New Zealand and Australia will still be blue because just like south Korea, Japan and Taiwan they are very strong allies of the USA. So here is the updated map version.

Oh yeah I going to fix Macedonia in the next update thanks for the advice.

Mauretania might be team 2, since they view Western Sahara as part of them, since that's what Spain declared when they gave up the colony.

Also, I think it's safe to say to make Azerbaijan probably team 1. They absolutely hate Armenia because of Karabakh

And Argentina might be Team 2 over the whole Falklands thing

Well that might not be entirely the case. In the Falklands war Argentina was at war with Britain but supported by the USA so it's pretty unclear were they belong.

Ok here is the update:
Argentina stays green
Azerbaijan becomes probably team 1
west Sahara becomes green because it hates Morocco but doesn't have a clear relation with team 2
Mauritania becomes also green because it wants to have the western Sahara but doesn't have really clear relations with team 1 or 2

What do you guys think of adding Mali to probably team 1 because the large amount of French military support for the government?

That seems reasonable, I suppose, unless someone has anything to say against it.

This is the last map update for today with Mali added to probably team 1.

Future plans
-Adding more insurgencies ( for example in Mali )
-creating ww3 simulations
for each simulation scenario we gonna need a pol for which side the each of the unknown side countries will join.
We also gonna have some pols over the ww3 events in the war and we also will have a look on the weapons of the war.

Somalia is torn apart by civil war. I don't know the individual parties here aswell

I wouldn't think Mali would join, since they'd need access through their neighbors to the sea, which would enter them into the war.

Well that would be the same for South Sudan, Ethiopia, DRC, Laos, and Afghanistan.

DRC has a panhandle to a coast and has 3 coastal ports.

Sorry people for being a little late
here is a small update
-added Nicaragua to probably team 2 because they are pretty allied with Russia sins the cold war
-Also I added the insurgencies in Mali but not extremely accurate but close enough
I wanted to add the Somalian conflict but their conflict is pretty weird and I can't really find out who supports who.
If there are more ideas for the map I really like to hear them.

Last time I also announced that there a gonna be scenario's. The first question for the first scenario is going to be which side Pakistan and India are going to join in the first scenario. We gonna ask this question with a poll that you can find on: https://goo.gl/pA9PEj. After some days I will make a conclusion out of it. Have fun voting for what ever you like. Whatever Brazil is, Argentina would probably be the other, and they could battle it out with the other SA minors needing to choose a side.

Chile declared war on Japan in WW2 so I don't think that Chile would remain neutral in this situation, WE WANT BLOOD

And I think that Brazil would help the Capitalist side just like Chile.

The third world war, if we have it, is guaranteed to be far more cyber based than conventional based. Casualties would even be super low.

Cyber war will definitely happen in such a world war but I think it will be combined with conventional and ABC warfare. And especially because ABC warfare is involved the Casualties will be very high. (and earth will probably go to sh#t, so that is why a world war 3 might not happen but it's still nice to speculate about it)
